Job description
TMC Sales Manager India - The TMC Sales Manager India has responsibilities for overall TMC business in India and is responsible for ensuring annual business goals are met. He/she will build business strategies and execute the action plans to achieve annual orders & sales & service target, and achieve new business development target, and achieve other performance goals and objectives. In addition, he/she is also responsible for developing and managing channel partners in India.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver orders & sales & service plans and goals for India to support TMC s business strategies and objectives. Drive year-over-year growth.
- Achieve budgeted orders & sales & service revenue set for India . Drive year-over-year growth.
- Responsible for identifying new customers in India.
- Responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in India.
- Develop key and strategic customer accounts in India, obtain single source and major market share position, and drive year-over-year growth.
- Responsible for k ey and strategic customer accounts management in India.
- Responsible to build c ustomer relationships at all level.
- Report voice of customers to management team. Highlight the requirements of local market needs to grow TMC business.
- Build and maintain an active opportunity pipeline to support year-over-year growth in India.
- Update CRM System (Salesforce) weekly with accurate and detailed information.
- Submit business forecast weekly and when required.
- Update management team with weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports when required.
- Responsible for business presentations to management team at sales meetings and when required.
- Responsible for business presentations at customers meetings, trade shows, seminars, and conferences, and when required.
- Attend meetings and conference calls when required.
- Provide market research, pricing analysis, competitive analysis regularly and when required
- Support pricing strategies especially price increases and achieve the business goals while managing customers expectations and relationships with minimum disruptions.
- Ensure orders, contracts, purchase agreements, suppliers agreements, technical agreements, tender agreements, business transactions, distribution agreements met all AMETEK business compliance requirements, regulatory standards, AMETEK policy, and US laws and regulations.
- Developing channel partners in India to expand our coverage and markets served.
- Work and manage channel partners to collaborate and win business for TMC
- Work with all AMETEK colleagues in India to collaborate and win business for TMC
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or other technical degree is preferred
- Minimum 6 years of experience in sales in a technology oriented organization is required
- Experience with Electron Microscopy, Life Science, Semiconductor, Vibration Control is preferred
- Sales experience of capital equipment is preferred
- A proven record of growing the business as a technical sales person is preferred
- Understanding of marketing processes and activities such as market research, pricing, marketing communications, competitive analysis is a plus
- Highly organized, effective time management, prioritization and follow-up skills is required
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred
- A deal closer is a must!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent presentations skills in English
- Position demands extensive travel within India, oversea travel is required when necessarily
