Job description

Position: Process Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the
process design, review of proposed refinery.

Job Location: Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq

Job Requirements

• Should be able to understand the project requirements / philosophies and carry out the process activities independently.
• Prepare and / or update design basis.
• Perform Simulation using PRO-II or HYSYS to finalize the PFD and HMB
• Prepare PFD/UFD/HMB/DPDT
• Review process calculation for Pumps and Compressors
• Review Pump and Compressor datasheets.
• Review datasheets for other equipment and packages.
• Review PSV sizing.
• Perform line sizing.
• Review of P&IDs, PSFS and C&E diagrams, Control narratives and other philosophies.
• Review control valve design calculations and prepare its datasheet.
• Review safety relief calculations as per relevant API standards.
• Prepare process documents line list, HMS and Utility summary.

Qualification:
•B.E/B.Tech./M.E/M.Tech. (Petroleum/Chemical Engineering) with 12-15 years of relevant experience
• Hands on experience in simulation software and design tools
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Experience in basic engineering, FEED and detail engineering projects for oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical sector for international companies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
