Job description

URGENT OPENING FOR DGM - CONTRACT MANAGEMENT FOR KARAMTARA ENGINEERING PVT. LTD, MUMBAI

The candidate [ ideally from the Iron & Steel Industry - Large Manufacturing Unit] from (a Chartered Accountancy & Legal Background) should have very good knowledge, experiences of more than 18 years, and proven track record in :

Looking after all sales and purchase contracts of the company.

Negotiating & and thorough in all contractual terms, and knowledge of PO and SO.

Entering into any short-term and long-term contract.

Risk assessment & and recommend risk mitigation measures while pre- & and Post Award of Contracts.

Review, comments & and preparation of Tender in the Pre-Award stage.

Review, negotiate & and drafting of Contract documents upon Award of Contract.

Analyze Contracts & and identify crucial conditions influencing Project performance & and financial implications.

Project Risk assessment & and recommend Risk mitigation measures for Project execution.

Entire Contract Administration, maintaining Contract documents for all projects.

Correspondence management with Parties / Clients while pre- and Post Award of Contracts until Contract closure.

Identify contractual obligations & and recommend measures for dispute resolution.

Formulation of Legal litigation/Claims, counterclaims, and dispute resolution at any stage.

Detailed Overview:

· Risk assessment & and inputs on Risk mitigation measures during the Pre-award/Tendering

stage.

· Co-ordinate with Projects & and other Departments for inputs in Risk mitigation measures.

· Verification of Clients credentials & evaluation of Vendors & Contractors.

· Review, comments & and preparation of Tenders, NDA, Agreements, WO, PO, LOI, LOA, MOU

etc.

· Co-ordinate with all other departments to collect various inputs while Contracts are finalized.

· Adherence & and utilization of FIDIC conditions of Contract.

· Techno-commercial negotiation with Clients and contractors during Contract finalization.

· Preparation of Management approval & and acceptance documents upon award of Contract.

· Preparation of Synopsis for important Contractual clauses & and obligations upon award of

Contract.

· Review, negotiating & and drafting of Contract security documents viz (ABG, CPBG, RBG, L/C

etc.

· Analyze Contracts & and identify crucial conditions influencing Project performance.

· Project Risk assessment & and recommend Risk mitigation measures during the entire Project

execution stage.

· Correspondence management with Clients and contractors until Project closure.

· Tracking of Contracts schedule, preparation of EOT application, Idle charges while Contracts

execution.

· Maintain contractual records and documentation for all completed & and existing projects.

· Review the Contract compliance throughout the life cycle of the project.

· Preparation of applicable Claims i.e., Idle charges, Price Escalation, Non-Tendered items &

others etc.

· Drafting of Contractual Letters to Clients and Vendors during the entire Contract execution.

· Overall Contract Administration and change Order Management until the entire Contract

execution.

· Responsible for billing certifications & and payment follow-up with Clients and contractors.

· Meetings with Clients and subcontractors on delays in payments, LD, PAC, open points, any

issues, etc.

· Tracking, collecting, and contracting security documents/LCs upon pre and post of their validity

expiration.

· Reviewing, drafting, and submitting Contract closure documents.

· Identify contractual obligations and ambiguities of Clients and contractors upon any disputes

or claims.

· Preparation of alternative dispute resolution measures to any Claims while Project execution.

· Assisting in the selection of Arbitrators, preparation of Arbitration Synopsis, and Assisting &

briefing Arbitrators.

· Formulation of Legal litigation towards any Claims/Counter Claims, dispute resolution.

· Implementing Contractual clauses, analyzing & reporting on any contractual claims to

Management.

Max Annual CTC ( Cost to Company): Rs. 30LPA
