Job description
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the identification and implementation of opportunities to leverage emerging AI and digital technologies within our client's insurance business. This critical role will involve collaborating with stakeholders across various functions, including front office, middle office, and back office, to assess the potential for technology-driven innovation and process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of current trends in emerging technologies, a strong knowledge of the IT landscape and applications in the insurance industry, and a thorough grasp of applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging AI and digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, robotic process automation, and cloud computing.
Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and introduce new dynamic processing applications across various functions within the insurance business.
Develop comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications (FSs) for technology-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and vendors to design, implement, and test innovative technology solutions.
Participate in the implementation of technology-driven projects as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on business processes, data requirements, and regulatory considerations.
Work closely with business users to gather feedback, identify training needs, and ensure the smooth adoption of new technology solutions.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and ROI assessments to evaluate the financial impact of technology-driven initiatives.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management, highlighting the potential and impact of emerging technologies on the insurance business.
