Job description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a deep understanding of the airline industry, a strong background in data analysis and6-12 years of airline industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, extract insights from data, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance our operations and services in the airline domain.
Responsibilities - Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs and objectives in the airline domain.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to interpret and extract actionable insights from large datasets related to airline operations, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide recommendations and actionable insights for business improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to define and prioritize data requirements, ensuring the availability of accurate and relevant data for analysis.
- Assist in the development of business strategies, including revenue optimization, cost analysis, customer experience enhancement, and operational efficiency within the airline domain.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and tools that support data analysis and reporting needs.
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6 – 12 years' experience as a Business Analyst within the airline industry
- Strong knowledge of airline domain (Flight Operations, Engineering, Crew Operations, PSS and Customer Experience), industry trends, and challenges.
- Proficiency in business intelligence/data analysis tools and methodologies to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with airline-specific data sources, systems, and industry standards.
