Rancho Labs is seeking a highly motivated and creative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development and design of innovative DIY and robotics kits. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from concept and prototyping to production-ready drawings, ensuring our kits are not only functional but also engaging and user-friendly for enthusiasts of all experience levels.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new and exciting DIY and robotics kits, including mechanical components, assemblies, and user interfaces.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing.
- Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (G&T)principles to ensure accurate and consistent parts fabrication.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze designs for functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the DIY and robotics space.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including assembly instructions and user manuals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (G&T)principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for DIY and robotics, with a keen understanding of the target audience.

- Salary: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
