Job description
Experience: 15 years of experience in Administration of IT solutions
Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc.), or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with hands on experience on various IT technologies.
Skills and Capabilities
- Expert on IT network Solutions, architecture.
- Expert on MPLS, SDWAN, IPsec VPN network solutions.
- Should have hands-on experience in Network Routers, Firewall Palo Alto, Fortinet etc, Wi-Fi Network
- Should have hands-on experience in DNS, Load Balancers, WAF, DDoS, SSL, TLS, SIEM, routing.
- Should have hands-on experience in AWS, Azure Network Solutions Landing zone, App Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, VPC, Azure ExpressRoute, VNET Peering, VPN Gateway etc.
- Knowledge on DLP, ATP, Encryption, Endpoint detection & response (EDR), Extended detection & response (XDR) etc
Core Purpose of the Role: Supervise the IT Network and security operations Ensure the maintenance of the systems are implemented. Regularly check, organize, and control the IT and electronic data operations.
Role Accountabilities
- Lead the IT Network operations
- Responsible for the Network design, architecture, implementation, and support of network solutions related to resilience Network Infrastructure to meet current and future requirements.
- Manage IT Network for all Public, Hybrid Cloud hosted applications and ensure availability 100%.
- Manage a team of network professionals, mentoring, providing guidance and technical support.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, security, systems and applications to ensure seamless integration of network services and implement third party integration solutions.
- Vendor management supporting the IT network services, inventory management, AMC and validation of ongoing Opex for all IT Network components.
- Conduct periodic Capacity planning to address network requirements.
- Responsible for Network availability of Disaster Recovery Site, conduct regular DR Drills ensuring connectivity of end users from BCP locations.
- Responsible for Datacentre Operations & DR
- Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
- Support for various audits including ISO, SSAE16 & other Pharma related compliances.
- Establish and lead the incident management process, ensuring timely identification, escalation, resolution, and reporting of IT incidents. Serve as the focal point for all incident-related communication and coordination.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses for IT Datacentre & Network major incidents to identify underlying issues and prevent future occurrences. Implement corrective actions and process improvements based on analysis findings.
