Job description / Role
• This role is to be based out of India. • Performing contract reviews at the front end, pre-contract. • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients pre-contract. • Establishing budgets post contract. • Managing the procurement of subcontractors and materials. • Supervising the QS team to ensure valuations are performed timely and thoroughly. • Chasing up certification and payment from the consultants and clients. • Establishing contract administration procedures bespoke to the projects and making sure they are followed throughout the project duration. • Providing hands on drafting support for contractual letters, disputed variation narratives and EOT claims. • Negotiating with clients and consultants to maximize value on the projects. • Mentoring of the QS team. • CVR reviews for each of the projects within the business. • Preparing consolidated commercial reports for the business and presenting to management in head office.
Requirements
• Indian national with a degree in Quantity Surveying and MRICS qualification. • Minimum 8 years experience in a Commercial/QS role. • Experience managing a number of QSs over multiple projects. • Solid Consultancy experience is essential, managing multiple projects at once and experienced managing a team of people.
