Job description
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience in project management and PMO functions. The PMO Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across the organization.
Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Coordination :
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate project resources, activities, and dependencies.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and status reports.
- Generate and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct project post-mortems and produce lessons learned documentation.
Risk Management :
- Identify and assess project risks and issues.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on risk mitigation progress.
Quality Assurance :
- Establish and enforce project management best practices.
- Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with established processes.
- Work with project teams to continuously improve project delivery processes.
Stakeholder Communication :
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Organize and lead regular project meetings.
- Ensure timely and transparent communication of project status.
Resource Management :
- Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Track resource utilization and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with HR to identify and onboard project team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 4 - 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on PMO functions.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- PMI or other project management certifications are a plus.
