Job Summary: We are seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle database applications. The PL/SQL Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for Oracle databases.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Perform data modeling and database design.
- Application Development:
- Collaborate with software engineers and business analysts to understand application requirements.
- Develop and integrate database solutions into business applications.
- Ensure data integrity and security in application development.
- Performance Tuning:
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Optimize database performance and implement best practices.
- Testing:
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and integrity of code.
- Perform system testing and assist in user acceptance testing.
- Documentation:
- Document database design, coding, and testing activities.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications and databases.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Collaborate with other developers to integrate database applications with external systems.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Investigate and resolve database-related issues.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for production systems.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture.
- Proficiency in writing efficient, complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with database design and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills - Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Knowledge of version control systems.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
