Job description
To lead, direct and co-ordinate all bidding activities to achieve or exceed the India targets (Turnover, Margin), and increase market share and customer loyalty, through the efficient utilisation of the resources. help company to determine the scope of a project, required contents of the estimate, as well as the costs associated with the project and its impact on the organization, to determine if the project will be financially successful or not.
· Review the Client’s Request for Quotation (RFQ)
· Review and comment to the Customer’s Technical Specifications
· Engage and negotiate with major sub-Suppliers to create mutually beneficial Client solutions
· Request input from the BD Manager or Opportunity Leader for the commercial risk assessment
· Coordinate Proposal Bill of Materials.
· Assist the Sales team in developing Technical and Commercial strategies for the successful implementation of the Order Capture Process on a project-by-project basis
· Ensure that the Technical and Commercial proposals in response to client inquiries meet our standards for quality, completeness and timeliness
· Review pricing for compliance with pre-established KPIs and price/scope agreement. Issues price recommendations for approval.
· Coordinate and participate in client clarification meetings and discussions
· Understand the client’s applications and processes
· Support the BD in preparing the internal approval documentation
· Support the BD Team with project or product presentations
· Conducts business affairs with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
· Responsible for providing complete analysis, estimate and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of the tender.
· Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine serviceability.
· Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
· Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team and client
· Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types
· Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents.
· Collaborate with operations staff and other team members to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
· Perform assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gap

Job Summary:
Estimation Engineer works closely with the Sr Manager Business Development in the formulation of Tenders/Proposals and budgets as per the Company/Customer priorities. To collect and analyse data and information in order to estimate costs associated with providing a service to the customer. Works proactively towards cost target objectives in collaboration with other departments. Any significant risk/assumptions/considerations made for pricing will be formally discussed with the Manager Business development and other members of the Management Team.
