About this role

What is the opportunity

We are recruiting for a newly formed Core Risk Management (Core RM) group, whose objective it is to advance risk management practices at BlackRock, delivering scale and resilience to the risk management platform. This opportunity is to lead a pod within the Core Investment Risk Analytics team within Core RM, which will work with Investment Risk Managers and other BlackRock teams across the globe to solve business problems through data analytics, automation, and technology solutions. The team will deliver on demand risk analytics, data models and algorithms that enable risk management at scale and will comprise of data engineers, data / risk analysts and data scientists with strong coding skills.

Core RM is part of the Risk & Quantitative Analysis (RQA) group, which provides independent oversight of BlackRock's fiduciary and enterprise risks globally.

What You Will Be Doing

Leading a pod or being a technical specialist within the Core Investment Risk Analytics team and working with the head of Core Investment Risk Analytics to shape the future state of Core RM.

Collaborating with risk managers and technology teams globally to deliver risk analytics and reporting solutions to inform risk management engagements across all of BlackRock's Portfolio Management teams, leadership committees and boards.
