Job description

Job Responsibilities For Procurement Executive:

1. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing,

purchasing, and contract management.

2. Identify potential suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations based on

customer requirement.

3. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable

terms for the organization.

4. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers, evaluating their performance,

and addressing any issues.

5. Analyze costs associated with procurement activities and identify

opportunities for cost savings.

6. Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality

standards.

7. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to select materials and

components that meet technical requirements.

8. Ensure the quality and conformity of materials and products received from

suppliers.

9. Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to increase

efficiency and reduce lead times.

10. Implement best practices and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

11. Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and

company policies.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management,

business, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree or relevant

certifications (e.g., Certified Purchasing Manager) can be advantageous.

Experience: Several years of experience in procurement, preferably in an

engineering or technical environment.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess costs,

trends, and supplier performance.

Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills to secure

favourable terms with suppliers.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and

Microsoft Office applications.

Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in reviewing contracts, specifications, and

supplier agreements.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve procurement-related

challenges and issues.

Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional

teams.

Ethical Conduct: High ethical standards and integrity in all procurement

activities
