Job description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with web developers, SEO experts, and digital marketers to enhance user experiences and maintain brand consistency.
- Utilize human-computer interaction design principles to optimize our institutional website.
- Provide wireframes, designs, and interactive mockups to breathe life into web projects.
- Translate designs into WordPress front-end code, ensuring scalability and reusability.
- Optimize web pages for speed and scalability, integrating third-party tools when necessary.
- Leverage the multisite platform to efficiently manage approximately 10 web properties.
- Conduct A/B testing and continuously iterate to improve existing work.
- Ensure website compliance with SEO, ADA, and privacy laws.
- Develop structures to guide website development, including style guides and layout templates.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end design and development, with a focus on UI/UX.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Familiarity with ADA WCAG 2.0 guidelines and SEO principles.
- Experience with graphic design applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of mobile-first responsive design.
- Previous experience in front-end development of WordPress websites preferred.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce integration into websites is a plus.
