Responsibilities
Accountabilities and KPIs No. Key Accountabilities 1 Collect and compile data from various data sources and not limited to databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and external datasets. Ensures data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. 2 Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into a usable format. Handle missing data and outliers appropriately. 3 Apply statistical and analytical techniques to extract insights from data. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively. 4 Build and maintain predictive or descriptive models to support decision-making. Leverage tools such as regression analysis, clustering, and ML techniques and algorithms as needed. 5 Interpret and communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders. Create reports, presentations, and data-driven recommendations. 6 Monitor data quality and implement data governance best practices. Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data integrity. 7 Work with relational databases (SQL) to query and manipulate data. Assist in database design and maintenance. 8 Stay up to date with industry trends, data analysis techniques, and tools. Continuously improve skills in data analysis, statistical methods, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). 9 Maintain and re-engineer existing ETLs to increase data accuracy, data stability, and pipeline performance. 10 Adherence to compliance procedures in accordance with regulatory standards, requirements, and policies. Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources security, and metadata. No. Skills & Experience 1 Working experience on Python, R Programming, Scala, Apache Spark, Google Big Query 2 Mandatory working experience in Power BI, Google 360. Knowledge in analytics tools like Tableau, Excel VBA Macros, RSPSS, SAS is an added advantage. 3 Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst. Experience in working on Business intelligence tools/platforms and systems. 4 Strong knowledge in data pre-processing and EDA by using various tools. Thorough in analytics/visualization tool setup, configuration and administration. 5 Having knowledge of classification (Random Forest, SVM, Boosting and Bagging techniques) and clustering algorithms is desirable 6 Hands on in Descriptive/Predictive/Prescriptive Analytical techniques. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy 7 Results driven with strong analytical, critical thinking and numeric skills. Convey data story through the visualization. Ability to dissect complex problems and extract meaningful insights from data. 8 A team player capable of working and integrating across cross-functional team for implementing project requirements. Experience in technical requirements gathering and documentation. 9 Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced agile environment with tight deadlines 10 A flexible, pragmatic and collaborative team player with innate ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organization. 11 Attention to detail is crucial for data cleaning and ensuring data accuracy. 12 Capability to solve real-world business problems using data-driven approaches. 13 Awareness of data ethics and privacy regulations (e.g., DPDP, IT Act 2000) when handling sensitive data.
