Job description
Mid-Level PLC Programmer with 2 to 6 years of experience, Full-Time position in Chennai, India. Join our aspiring team at Mind Fox, India. As a PLC Programmer, you will play a huge role in our team mainly responsible for developing and maintaining the programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programs for our clients who is willing to work both from office and onsite. This job has site commissioning scopes as well.
Roles & Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain the programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for our clients' manufacturing processes. Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications. Collaborate with software team to handshake PLC with external software. Participate in system integration, testing, and commissioning activities. Perform FAT and SAT. Adhere to safety and compliance regulations in all PLC programming activities. Excellent learning skills to adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Willing to travel when required. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree - B.Tech-EEE/ECE/E&I/E&C Engineering Experience - 2+ years Location - Chennai Skills Required : Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI/SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley). Experience in Allen-Bradley is must. Proficiency PLC programming languages like Ladder logic (LD), Structural Text (STL), Structured Control Language (SCL) and Function Block Diagram (FBD) Proficiency in IDE Software- RX Logix 500 to Program AB PLC. Hands-On Experience on Control panel testing, field wiring and onsite commissioning. Experience with Projects on Machine automation and control systems is preferred. Familiar with Industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, ProfiNet, CC link, Ethernet TCP/IP, Ethercat on physical interfaces like RS 232, RS 485, RS422, RJ 45 etc Knowledge on field instruments and sensors. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Job Description : PLC, HMI and SCADA Programming. Meeting with clients to discuss their electrical and controls automation needs. Understanding electrical schematics to troubleshoot field wiring and control panel wiring. Developing and installing machine programs using Controls automation software and custom coding languages. Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation. Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability. Troubleshooting control system errors. Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs. Documenting development processes.
