Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Service Engineer to provide technical support and service for solar systems installed at residential and commercial sites in Ahmedabad. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for trou bleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to solar energy systems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimal performance of our solar installations.
Responsibilities:
. Respond promptly to service requests from residential and commercial customers regarding solar system issues.
. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify the root causes of system malfunctions or underperformance.
. Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance ac tivities on solar panels, inverters, batteries, wiring, and other system components.
. Coordinate with the installation team to rectify any installation - related issues that may impact system performance.
. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer queries and provide technical guidance as needed.
. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including detailed reports on system inspections, repairs, and replacements.
. Stay updated with industry trends, product advancements, and best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
. Adhere to safety guidelines and practices while working on solar energy systems.
. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service, resolving issues effectively, and delivering exceptional customer support.
Qualifications and Skills:
. Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
. Previous experience in servicing and troubleshooting solar energy systems is highly desirable.
. Strong understanding of so lar energy principles, including PV modules, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.
. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to solar energy systems.
. Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and software used in the solar e nergy industry.
. Excellent problem - solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
. Effective communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear explanations of technical concepts.
. Ability to work independentl y and prioritize tasks in a fast - paced environment.
. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high - quality service.
. Valid driver's license , 2 wheeler and willingness to travel to customer sites in Ahmedabad
