Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the store, managing inventory, inward and outward of goods, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Pune, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time employment opportunity.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and sales principles
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the retail store, including sales, inventory, and staff
  • Develop strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and merchandised effectively
  • Manage inventory levels and implement efficient stock control procedures
  • Monitor daily operations and address any issues or challenges that arise
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Analyze sales and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive footfall and increase sales
  • Train and develop the store team, ensuring a high standard of product knowledge
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
