Mechanical Design Engineer- Fresher, Entry level roles Meril is actively seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented recent graduates with a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic Global Orthopedic R&D team. In the role of Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing innovative orthopedic medical devices that enhance patient outcomes and elevate their quality of life.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Apply your engineering expertise to design and develop mechanical components and systems for orthopedic medical devices.

CAD Modeling: Proficiently utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of device components.

Prototyping: Contribute to the development and testing of prototypes, evaluating designs, ensuring functionality, and validating performance.

Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and medical professionals to ensure the successful execution of R&D projects.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that designs align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Meril's quality standards.

Qualifications:

Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution. Achieve a CGPA above 8.0 or demonstrate equivalent academic excellence. Possess a strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). Exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Possess effective communication and strong teamwork skills. Exhibit a passion for healthcare innovation and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory): Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. Knowledge of orthopedic device design or related projects. Previous internships or coursework related to medical device development are a plus.
