THE ROLE Candidate will be responsible to provide L3 remote support to the clients. He will need to ensure that customer expectations are met and defined performance metrics /benchmarks adhering to ITIL-based standard operating procedures.
The senior network engineering position calls for a highly motivated individual with broad expertise in all areas of network design, maintenance and troubleshooting.
As a Senior Network Admin, candidate must set an example for team by exhibiting a high level of professionalism and exercising sound judgment to provide timely resolution of problems.
Candidate must demonstrate as a Subject Matter Expert on IT service deliveries and provide technical inputs on resolution
Candidate would be a part of 24*7 rotation support and would be responsible to provide coverage on planned maintenance activities.
Candidate would need to provide on-call rotational coverage, during non-business hours.
In addition, this role will be responsible for Support, Escalation, Deployments and Design for both Data and Voice Network Infrastructure prioritizing with securing Networks.
In this highly-visible role, candidate must manage all technical aspects for clients network environment and assist your team as needed. This role will also be managing the Cloud Network Infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Manage the success of technical team in delivering quality end-user technology support and adhering to service level agreement goals
- Work as a primary contact for technical deliverables for clients of Gravitas and provide resolution within established SLA targets.
- Work promptly to have resolve all incoming infrastructure issues by phone, email or chat
- Document issue status and provide updates to management and end-users in near real-time
- Co-ordinate with onshore support/cross functional teams to deliver IT services for customers
- Follow up on outstanding issues, setting up Resolution state and ensure timely solution along with Customer satisfaction.
- Ensure to maintain the uptime of the entire Network Infrastructure by Following best-in-class services.
- Managing the Voice Infrastructure of different offices over the globe.
- Responsible for Datacenter Preventive Maintenance, OS Upgrades, Replacement & Hardware Refresh
- Troubleshoot and coordinate with Vendors to resolve complex and Severity issues within committed SLAs
- Ensure proper monitoring and alerting systems are in place to maintain high availability and uptime
- Focus more on standards, automation and Scripting to minimize labor-intensive and tedious tasks
- Liaise with customers and Market brokers when configuring 3rd Party secure communication links, e.g. Customer VPN connections or FIX providers
- Involve in technical discussion with clients to understand their requirements and provide network and security solutions and project budgeted hours and recommend Hardware and Software parts# for proposals
- On occasion this role may be required to assist other Technology Management departments to complete projects.
- May involved in auditing the Network infrastructure and submit the report with remediation and recommendations
- Evaluating new technologies, recommending products and services to ensure improvements and efficiency
- Ensure the successful execution of engineering projects by developing and implementing plans that deliver with planned scope, schedule and budget.
- Develop, document and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Assist with the network integration of new acquisitions and helping in Site survey and propose recommandations
- Provide periodic trainings to team members and ensure runbooks/documentation is up to date
Skills Required - Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure services
- Process- and metrics-driven approach to ensure consistent delivery of the highest possible level of service.
- Management skills in evaluating, developing, and coaching L1 and L2 client-facing technologists
- Designing, Implementation and configuration for Cisco ASA, PaloAlto (Must have), Meraki
- Designing, Implementation and configuration for IT Infrastructure setup for business offices
- Designing, Implementation and configuration for Cisco Nexus, Catalyst Switches, HP/Aruba and Meraki
- Must have Strong experience in Public cloud technologies – Microsoft Azure & AWS (Must have)
- Strong experience in implementation of compliance practices – Proxy, IPSec VPN, Remote VPN, NPS
- Strong experience with VMware NSX, vSwitch, Juniper, PaloAlto virtual Appliance
- Strong customer service skills hosted in a NOC/24*7 client services environment
- Strong experience with Protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VPC, Spanning Tree, Ether-channel, HSRP, QOS, SIP, RSTP, VOIP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a positive attitude to motivate and influence others
- Outstanding presentation, written and interpersonal communications skills

Advantage With Additional Skills - Must have an experience with AWS console and hosting

Academic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Training, certification, or experience with ITIL v3 framework
