Job description
- SKF ITAM (IT Asset Management) Team is now looking for a curious and result oriented colleague who enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
- As a Software Asset manager, you will ensure the effective service delivery, and continuous improvements of the management of software s within the SKF Group and pay a critical role in the ITAM Team, with great opportunity of learning on the job and support us in developing the SAM practice in a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the SAM Service delivery is stable and continuously improved.
- Develop and maintain SAM processes in the SKF Group.
- Drive Software optimization initiatives.
- Act as a specialized partner to Service Owners and Application owners on the business side.
- Keep an ear to the ground and discover potential improvement possibilities.
- Act as the coordinator between different teams to ensure the agreed end result.
- Educate stakeholders on the SAM concepts and support them in managing SW assets.
Required Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Clear sense of end-to-end ownership.
- Are motivated, self-driven and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Systematic and dare to challenge in a constructive way.
- Knowledge of the key technology from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle (meriting, but not hard requirement)
- Knowledge in area specific tools in use e.g Flexera One, ServiceNow
Education & Experience Required
- University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 8-10 years of experience working within the area of ITAM (and preferably with License- or Software Asset Management)
- Experience with Client Application portfolio mgmt. (meriting, but not hard requirement)
- Experience with ITSM and SAM Tools.
