On the lookout for a
Lead B2B SAAS Product Designer! About the company: The hiring company is creating new billing and pricing systems for SaaS companies, adapting to evolving pricing models. They're building their initial team and seek those eager to shape an early-stage startup. About the role: They're seeking a founding product designer to take full ownership of product design. Their product is technically complex, but it's intended for users with no prior knowledge in this field. The first significant challenge in product design needs top-notch UX skills (this is a must). They also have high standards for aesthetics as they see their product as a piece of art and believe attractive products build user trust. Responsibilities: Collaborating with founders to grasp business goals and customer insights. Co-creating the product with product and engineering teams and early customers. Building a design strategy, setting up high-quality design processes, and fostering a strong design culture through collaboration, empathy, feedback, and customer focus. Developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to bring ideas to life. Communicating design decisions confidently, while promoting cross-functional collaboration. Conducting user research to identify issues and experiment with solutions; advocating for user needs to inform the product roadmap. Keeping a well-organized digital asset library, where all design files are correctly labeled, version-controlled, and easily accessible for the team. Strategizing, developing, and expanding the visual design systems and pattern libraries. Building and managing a team of junior designers (or interns) with the necessary skills (product/graphic/illustration design) to meet their scaling needs. Qualifications: 5+ years in product design, including SaaS products Focus on user experience in design Knowledge and interest in modern UX/UI design principles for B2B SaaS Eye for aesthetics and seamless designs Self-driven with a strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Ability to simplify complex design problems Collaborative, able to work with teams on new features Expertise in user empathy and effective solution creation Excellent visual storytelling, pixel-perfect UI design, and prototyping Can conduct user research studies Experience leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional leadership Can build and motivate a team of junior designers/interns Entrepreneurial mindset Culture: They maintain a light-hearted approach and prioritize fun.
