We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator with a background in system administration, incident/problem determination, resolution, and a keen ability to identify and implement automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with security appliances such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate, ASA, and Sophos. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network components.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and security patches.
Incident/Problem Resolution:
Respond promptly to system alerts, incidents, and service requests.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Document incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Automation:
Identify opportunities for automation to enhance operational efficiency.
Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows.
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Security Appliances Expertise:
Utilize hands-on experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate, ASA, and Sophos.
Configure and manage firewall policies, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in network security.
Communication Skills:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address IT challenges.
Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide user training and support to enhance overall system awareness.
