Job description
As a People Operations Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for taking full accountability for delivering high-quality services globally. ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee data, including new hires, terminations, job and personal data changes. You will be a part of the global People Operations team and will work closely with all different HR functions like HR Business Partners, L&D, and Total Rewards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, for employees across various countries.
- Coordinate with benefits providers to streamline enrollment processes, address employee inquiries, and ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate processing of benefits-related transactions.
- Stay abreast of changes in labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in each country of operation.
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to verify HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with local regulations.
- Partner with legal advisors to interpret and implement legislative changes and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices across various countries.
- Provide guidance to HR teams and employees on benefits-related policies and procedures, promoting understanding and compliance.
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and enhance services.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly and recommend adjustments or improvements to benefits programs as needed.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, compliance, and HR policies.
- Offer guidance and assistance to employees regarding benefits enrollment, claims processing, and other related matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on benefits administration and compliance.
- Thorough understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
- Proficiency in navigating labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
- Experience managing international HR operations and administering benefits programs in diverse geographic locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- HR certification (eg, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is desirable.
