Job description

This is a remote position.

Position Overview:

As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect you will play a pivotal role in the successful migration of a customer application to the AWS cloud environment. You will be responsible for implementing a multiaccount strategy creating AWS VPCs integrating with IPAM and supporting the onboarding of customer applications into AWS. Additionally you will focus on migrating applications to AWS Graviton optimizing compute resources and transitioning Terraform enterprise to AWS. Your role will involve collaboration with crossfunctional teams network troubleshooting infrastructure automation and adherence to best practices for performance resiliency high availability and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement a multiaccount strategy for the automated creation of AWS accounts catering to both single and multitenant scenarios.

Create and manage AWS VPCs ensuring seamless integration with AWS IPAM solutions.

Support teams in onboarding customer applications into AWS addressing network troubleshooting infrastructure automation and operational monitoring.

Lead the migration of customer applications to run on AWS Graviton focusing on automated deployment and rightsizing of compute resources.

Migrate Terraform enterprise to AWS including the development of application provisioning and automation tools using Azure DevOps.

Integrate automated and repeatable integration test scenarios following AWS best practices for performance resiliency high availability and disaster recovery.

Required Skills:

Indepth expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure services and solutions.

Proficient in creating and managing AWS VPCs and integration with IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions.

Handson experience with AWS services such as EC2 S3 IAM and Graviton instances.

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Proficiency in programming languages specifically Java and Python.

Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Solid understanding of application migration strategies and best practices.

Ability to troubleshoot network issues and provide effective solutions.

Familiarity with automated testing and adherence to AWS best practices for performance resiliency high availability and disaster recovery.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a crossfunctional team environment.
