Oracle Apps Technical Consultant Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps Technical Consultant to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customizing, developing, integrating, and maintaining Oracle Applications to meet our business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud ERP, strong technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher reports according to business requirements. Write complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data analysis, data fixes, and routine maintenance activities. Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Assist in the migration of code between development, test, and production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Oracle Applications. Perform performance tuning of application components to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Document technical specifications, change management, and test results. Keep abreast of the latest Oracle technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. At least 5-8 years of experience in Oracle Applications technical development. Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher. Knowledge of Oracle Applications framework and architecture. Experience with Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Cloud ERP. Familiarity with Oracle Workflow, AME, and OAF is a plus. Good understanding of business processes related to Finance, SCM, HRMS, or CRM modules. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
