ACER India is seeking an Assessment Expert to for a large-scale assessment-related program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating assessments. The expert will work closely with the ACER India team in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Roles and Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of the large-scale assessment program, ensuring alignment with educational goals and standards. Develop and oversee summative assessments and content-based assessments to measure student learning outcomes effectively. Design and implement Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) frameworks to provide holistic assessments of student performance. Utilize hands-on experience to establish assessment standards. Provide expertise and guidance on assessment methodologies, ensuring validity, reliability, and fairness in assessments. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze assessment data and provide insights for improving educational practices. Necessary Qualifications Masters in Mathematics/Statistics/relevant field M.Ed./MA with a focus on Education, Languages, Child Development, or Diagnostic Studies for schools. 5+ years of professional experience in leading large-scale assessment-related programs. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing innovative assessment methodologies. Experience in at least two of the following sectors: Summative assessment & Content-based assessment Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) Hands-on experience in setting assessment standards. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret assessment data to drive decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications PhD in the relevant field Experience working in international educational contexts or with diverse student populations. Familiarity with the latest technologies and tools used in assessment design and administration. Candidates not meeting the qualifications need not apply.
