Job Description:

chargeMOD, a leading name in the field of EV charging, is actively seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Quality Assurance, Software Engineering Department in Trivandrum, Kerala. As an SDET with a focus on Flutter applications and MERN software, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities:

Test Automation:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Flutter applications and MERN software.
• Github Projects and Issue Tracking.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Testing Methodologies:

• Apply various testing methodologies to identify and rectify software defects.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
• Manual Tests

Flutter Testing:

• Specialize in testing Flutter applications, including UI testing and integration testing.
• Collaborate with Flutter developers to understand application behavior and edge cases.

MERN Software Testing:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of MERN software components, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Develop and maintain test cases for MERN applications.

Performance Testing:

• Perform performance testing on Flutter applications and MERN software to identify and address bottlenecks.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with development teams to understand software requirements and specifications.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide valuable input during sprint planning and reviews.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on industry trends related to testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in testing Flutter applications and MERN software.

Skills: Proficiency in testing frameworks for Flutter applications.

• Experience with testing MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) software.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
