Builds on organizational/process knowledge, understands business needs. Solves simple problems, analyzes and provides solutions/ alternatives. Moderate guidance and direction needed. Your Responsibilities Will Include - End to end execution of cost & quality improvement projects in structure subsystem
Key Partners Global Structure Sub system leads - System Architects & System Integrators
Key Activities And Responsibilities - Lead & own C&Q projects in structure subsystem.
- Work closely with regional and global stakeholders , participate in design reviews and technical forums.
- Generate ideas using various VA/VE tools like teardowns to continuously build LOS for future projects.
- Analyze SIR and BOM data to calculate the feasibility of design concepts and solutions
- Responsible for generating and reviewing engineering design concepts at module/component level and aimed at improving performance, increasing quality and/ or optimizing cost.
- Drive engineering calculations as required supporting design integrity.
- Coordinate and effectively communicate the Design Concepts with different stakeholders during Project/ Design Reviews.
- Perform DFMEA, Tolerance stack up analysis and other preventive action steps during product design and development.
- Apply DFx( DFA,DFM,DFR,DFS,DFSS) methodologies in Design in consultation with SME
Minimum Requirements EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Eg. B.Tech-Mech/ M.Tech-Design AGE NA EXP B.E 3-6 yrs M.Tech 3-4 yrs Preferred Skills And Experiences TECHNICAL - Systematic problem solving approach.
- Knowledge of Design Standards, variation analysis, VAVE methodology
- Knowledge/Experience of designing parts in Sheet metal, Plastic, Casting and other manufacturing processes and materials
MANAGERIAL - Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Team player
- Good energy level with positive attitude
