Job description

Overview: The Senior Security Engineer at OneMind Cloud Services is responsible for leading and fortifying our cloud and infrastructure security. In this role, you will guide the team in complying with security standards, managing sophisticated customer and audit queries, and implementing comprehensive security measures. A key aspect of your role includes expertise in multi-vendor firewalls, vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus, and working with advanced security solutions like EDR, MDR, and XDR for end-to-end security management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced cloud and infrastructure security strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to security compliance standards and manage audit processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries regarding our security protocols.
  • Manage and optimize firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Fortinet) and other security infrastructure.
  • Utilize tools like Nessus for regular vulnerability assessments and mitigation.
  • Implement and maintain EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), MDR (Managed Detection and Response), and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) solutions.
  • Oversee security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in all areas of network and information security.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging security threats and technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in cloud and infrastructure security, including leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in multi-vendor firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Fortinet) and vulnerability scanners like Nessus.
  • Experience with EDR, MDR, and XDR solutions, focusing on end-to-end security.
  • Strong understanding of security compliance standards and audit management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud security environments.
  • Skills in incident response, digital forensics, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk assessment methodologies.
