Job Overview

EDHR is seeking an HR Recruiter to join our team. As an Assistant Recruiter, you will play a key role in the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. You will also support the recruitment team in various administrative tasks. This is a full-time position based in Teachers Colony, HSR Layout, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and requires a junior level of experience with 1 to 3 years in recruitment.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and resume databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sourcing and screening abilities
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Networking and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms, job boards, professional networks, etc.)
  • Co-ordinate with Client and understand their requirements
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess the candidate's suitability and interest
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and Client
  • Assist in the creation and posting of job advertisements
  • Maintain candidate database and update applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, such as managing calendars, arranging candidate travel, and preparing recruitment materials
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary
  • Assist in the negotiation and preparation of employment offers
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through various channels
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices
