Position Title: Carbon Accounting Analyst

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and deeply enthusiastic Carbon Accounting Analyst to join our organization. Your responsibilities would include researching and applying Carbon Accounting Methodologies, encompassing all scopes of emissions with a focus on Scope 3 Emissions for Financial Institutions & other sectors.

Key Tasks and Accountability:

· Research and apply Carbon Accounting Methodologies into Sustainability Economics Solutions.

· Communicate Carbon Accounting concepts to technical teams and other stakeholders.

· Stay up to date on developments in the Carbon Accounting space, including methodology changes, standard body updates, and regulations across the world.

Educational & Experience:

· Bachelors in Engineering, Environmental Science or any related field.

· 1-5 years of relevant experience (Carbon Accounting, ESG, Energy Accounting, etc.)

· Experience in Scope 3 accounting is a plus.

Skills:

· Strategic vision, Strong technical and analytical capabilities.

· Strong reporting and writing abilities.

· Good communication, able to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise way.

Personal Attributes:

· A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

· A self-motivator and a collaborative team player.

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary.

· Agile, action oriented and a quick learner.

· Out of box thinker.
