Job description
- BiW: Frontbody, Underbody, Sidewalls & Roof, Doors & Mechanisms
- Addon parts: Separating wall, Trailerhitch, Pick-bed, jacks etc.
- Working Knowledge of BIW Manufacturing, Painting technology & Corrosion Protection techniques
- Creation, documentation and archiving of all necessary joining elements according to methodology.
- Having basic knowledge on Cavity Waxing, Seam sealing, ED and PVC Coating application.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T
- Extended support for the Body in White projects, Provide innovative solutions and concepts, Interactions with cross-functional teams
- Previous experience in MBRDI working on NX, (Mercedes Benz CAD methodology) and PLM systems.
- Understanding of BiW Material, Joining methodology such as Welding, riveting and gluing
- Able to work in complex vehicle structure and identify modularity in Vehicle matrix
Develops and delivers the digital CAD data
- Taking care of manufacturing, assembly & tolerance requirements, supporting for the release management activities.
- Core knowledge of the Body in White design and development.
- BiW functional knowledge of Performance and DMU packaging
- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturability and assembly.
- Good communication, Learning/adaptability, and Problem-solving skills.
- Experience in working with international environment will be added advantage.
Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech, MTech (Mechanical / Automobile/ Equivalent)
- Experience: 3 - 6 Years in body in white structures part design in UG NX Surface modeling
Tools: Expertise in CAD Construction (NX) (Advanced Surface module), Solid modeling, Assembly, Drawings. PDM tool-Engineering client/Team Center
