Job description
One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire an Logistics Operations Specialist I.
Key Accountabilities:
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards and comply with HSES policies and procedures.
- Work with the purchasing team closely for the movement of materials from supplier to the company through sea air and land.
- Provide logistics quotations to purchasing team/estimator.
- Work with the logistics provider to perform the logistics operations and ensure operations conducted as per the standard operating process agreed upon. Also identify any area in the operation process.
- Closely follow up the shipments with the logistics services provider and have an accurate update about the status of the shipments status.
- Manage and process the logistics PO in the system.
- Verify and process the logistics service provider invoices in ERP system.
- Coordinate with the logistics service provider for the plan of materials movements.
- Work with the trade compliance team to ensure ontime lifting of the cleared materials.
- Arrange surveyor services and insurance claim in case of damage.
- Maintain proper record about each shipment.
- Manage the documentation of the logistics operation include filling.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor degree or equivalent.
- Proven record in the logistics operation with ability to handle different type of shipment sea air and land.
- knowledge in transportation management system ERP and the work process.
- Knowledge in Logistics import system.
- 59 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain.
- This position is also offered to Saudi Nationals.
