Job Title: Tech Lead - DevOps

Essential Skills
· Proven experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and management, with a focus on DevOps practices.
· Experience leading and mentoring a team of infrastructure and DevOps professionals.
· Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure platforms
· Strong understanding of infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
· Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
· Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
· Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
· Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
· Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and influence stakeholders.
Competencies
· Infrastructure Operations and Support:
o Ensure the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure systems.
o Monitor infrastructure health, conduct performance analysis, and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
o Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation plans.
· Cloud Infrastructure Management:
o Architect, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
o Optimize cloud resource utilization, scalability, and cost efficiency.
o Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
o Lead the design and implementation of scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
o Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and enhance infrastructure capabilities.
· DevOps Implementation and Automation:
o Define and implement DevOps practices, processes, and tools to streamline software development, deployment, and operations.
o Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
o Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools for efficient and consistent infrastructure provisioning and management.
· Documentation and Process Improvement:
o Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, including architectural diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and reliability of infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Required Education and Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering. (OR)
● Masters in Computer Science or Computer Applications
● 8+ years of experience in DevOps administration
