Job Description At OpenText, we are looking for a motivated, highly passionate Java & full stack developer for iPrint development team, which is part of Enterprise File Server Group who has the experience, talent, skill set and confidence to work with a world-class development team at IDC, OpenText Bengaluru office. The team member will be responsible to work along with product development team to contribute primarily on the engineering for the product, which includes participate in product engineering, understanding, and contributing to developing required software modules for the planned releases. A complete ownership of assigned modules in terms of quality, schedule, and customer responsiveness. We are looking for people with the right blend of skills, education, experience, and attitude to fill these exciting and challenging positions. Our portfolio spans the following areas: DevOps | IT Operations| Cloud | Security | Info Governance | Big Data, Machine Learning, & Analytic Responsibilities: · We are looking for 5+ years of development experience in Java, JS, HTML, CSS, Angular 10+ with Front-End environment in conjunction with proven industry experience and about 2+ years of relevant experience as full stack developer. · · Understand customer requirements, their translation to user stories to develop features. · Ability to estimate planned work items and independently able to work on stories in accountable area of ownership. · Grasp quickly high- and low-level design of the product modules. · Knowledge and hands-on working experience in Print domain is required. · Understand overall architecture of the product and the dependencies in order to develop new f eature code and fix existing defects. · Exposure to UX practices for developing user centric applications, SPAs and web pages. · Work on root causing and resolving defects found by customer or quality assurances team for the given module. · Ability to build POCs to productization by validating with product management & other stakeholders. · Ability to write clean and well-structured code with proper UT cases. · Good understanding of scrum practices and agile methodology is a must. · Inclined towards innovation, and actively plugged into evaluating emerging technologies/industry trends for the product betterment. Education and Experience Required: · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent from reputed institute · 4+ years of development experience in Java, JS, HTML, CSS, Angular 10+ with Front-End environment in conjunction with proven industry experience and about 2+ years of relevant experience as full stack developer Required Mandatory Skills: · Excellent knowledge of Java, JS, HTML, CSS, GWT, Angular 10+, NodeJS, TS · Preferable to know swift 5 and xcode for developing Mac applications · Should have good understanding of Apple Development, OS concepts and knowledge of APIs · In-depth knowledge of core Java, Spring, Security technologies with upgrades · Hands-on logging, auth methodologies like OAuth2, etc. · Knowledge of android and Mac development is a plus · Excellent knowledge and working experience in JavaScript, JQuery, Angular 7 and above, AJAX, JSON, HTML5 and CSS3 · Writing scripts in Perl, Python and shell is advantageous · Ability to develop Restful server & API’s · Passion for UX and thrive to develop user centric applications · Ability to translate the Figma designs to rich UI using HTML5, CSS3 · Good exposure to modern frontend development frameworks · Agility to quickly adopt to new UI technologies · Experience working in Mac, Linux & Windows environments · A passion for building high-quality, scalable and innovative software systems · Experience of programming in multi-threaded applications using synchronization techniques · Good analytical skills and understanding of Data Structures · Profound knowledge of OS, memory management with excellent debug skills · Excellent communication and written skills Desirable Skills: · Knowledge of databases, indexing, hibernation · Running static analyzers, code coverage tools and address any identified issues · Working experience on enterprise file server solutions architectures and security concepts · Experience on Agile Scrum/TDD methodologiesJob tags
