Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Proofreader at Surgeped located in Jaipur. The Proofreader will be responsible for reviewing and correcting spelling, grammar, and other errors in various types of written material. Day-to-day tasks include identifying errors, checking for accuracy, and making suggested changes.

Qualifications

• Strong Spelling and Grammar skills
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience in Proofreading and Translation
• Attention to detail and ability to identify errors
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
• Experience in publishing, editing or related field is a plus
• Familiarity with style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style, AP Stylebook, or MLA Handbook is a plus

Candidates should also be highly organized and able to multitask effectively. They must have excellent time-management skills, be able to work collaboratively with other team members, and be willing to take direction from senior personnel.
