Position: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

Location: Presidency PU College, Kogilu, Yelahanka

Presidency PU College, Yelahanka, is seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to join our team as Lecturers or Senior Lecturers in various disciplines. Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials to students in the respective discipline(s).

2. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest industry trends and educational standards.

3. Student Engagement: Foster an interactive and engaging learning environment conducive to student participation and critical thinking.

4. Assessment and Evaluation: Design fair and comprehensive assessments to evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

5. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them in their academic and personal growth.

6. Research and Scholarly Activities: Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations, to contribute to the academic advancement of the discipline.

7. Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in the field through continuous learning and professional development activities.

8. Administrative Tasks: Undertake administrative responsibilities related to academic planning, student support, and other college activities as required.

9. Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to promote interdisciplinary learning and research initiatives.

10. Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives aimed at fostering positive relationships with the local community and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• For the position of Lecturer: A Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution. Prior teaching experience at the college level will be an advantage.

• For the position of Senior Lecturer equivalent terminal degree in the relevant discipline. Significant teaching experience, preferably at the college level, along with a strong record of research and scholarly contributions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.

• Proficiency in relevant technology and teaching tools.

• Commitment to the mission and values of the institution.
