Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Global Business Resilience to join our team at Maersk. Key Responsibilities

• Lead governance and assurance of business resilience framework & documentation in line with Industry best practices and standards.
• Supervise internal audits on business resilience & present audit reports and recommendations/mitigation measures to senior management.
• Take ownership of BR assurance plan for the agreed scope and collaborate with GSC business leadership to ensure holistic reporting of assurance plan.
• Supervise closure of action plans resulting from assurance activities within the allocated area of responsibility.
• Lead implementation of business resilience in the GSC locations and other entities of Maersk globally.
• Own and coordinate knowledge sharing communities including creating awareness about Business Resilience and its various aspects.
• Lead crisis related actions between sites and support site leadership team and site BCM team to ensure people safety and business resilience. Supervise crisis log and post incident/ crisis report creating & presentation to senior management.
• Support the leadership team with metrics on BR and provide guidance for setting up best practice and fit for purpose BR to benefit of business and customers.
• Monitor the alerts /news and ensure communications are in place for advising all stakeholders of a critical situation that may have potential impact on the operations.
• Support CEN BR team in implementation of global business resilience activity as per the BR Annual wheel.
• Coach team members to deliver results and provide stretch opportunities for personal & professional development.
• Be dedicated to teamwork and leadership by fostering an efficient, innovative and collaborative work environment.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• Certification in ISO 22301 lead auditor/lead implementor or equivalent required. Additional certification in ISO 45001, ISO 31000 & IOSH would be beneficial.

Experience

• 8+ years of BCMS implementation, governance, and assurance relevant experience with a proven track record.

Language

• The position requires excellent English in written and verbal communication skills.

• Good time management skills and high sense of urgency.

• Ability to collaborate with Global teams and work in a matrix organization.
• Ability to conceptualize and deliver trainings to global BR community.
• Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others.
• Experience of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenges.
• Being a team member supporting the global/regional/country teams proactively.
• Ability to build strong effective networks.
• Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify and highlight risks.
• Knowledge of Health and safety management would be beneficial.
