Job Overview
Trident Dispatch is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that production goals are met efficiently. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of production workers, managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in production supervising.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in production supervision
- Strong supervision and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling
- Experience in procurement and inventory management
- Understanding of maintenance and preventive maintenance techniques
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in using production management software
- Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of production workers and ensure their adherence to production goals and safety regulations
- Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, maintenance, and quality control to ensure smooth production processes
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as required
- Control production costs by minimizing waste, optimizing resource utilization, and implementing cost-saving measures
- Manage inventory levels and ensure availability of raw materials and supplies
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production strategies
- Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of production equipment and technologies
