Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and solutions related to data communication (datacom) systems.
Protocol Implementation: Implement and optimize network protocols for efficient data transfer, ensuring compatibility and compliance with industry standards.
Data Security: Implement data security measures within datacom solutions, including encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of datacom systems to ensure optimal throughput and low latency.
Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate datacom solutions with existing systems and applications.
Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and issues through thorough debugging and troubleshooting activities.
Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the development team.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and system architecture diagrams.
Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, network administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of datacom solutions.
