Job description

Role & Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

  • Provide strategic leadership in defining and implementing the overall design vision for our software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to align design efforts with business goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, user needs, and emerging technologies to inform product design strategies.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented software product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the design team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets.

UI/UX Design

  • Utilize your extensive UI/UX design experience to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for Fintech products.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure seamless integration of design solutions

Product Innovation

  • Drive innovation in product design, identifying opportunities for improvement and differentiation in the market.
  • Work closely with the product development team to create prototypes and design concepts that push the boundaries of Fintech user experiences.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure the consistency and quality of design deliverables across multiple products and platforms.
  • Establish and enforce design guidelines and standards to maintain a cohesive and professional user interface.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in software product design, with a focus on UI/UX.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing design teams.
  • Extensive experience in designing Fintech products, with a deep understanding of financial services and user needs in this domain.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions.
