Job description
The Process Designer P&ID will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for industrial and manufacturing processes. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams understanding process requirements and translating them into accurate and comprehensive P&IDs. The Process Designer will ensure that all diagrams adhere to industry standards regulations and project specifications.
- Develop accurate and detailed P&IDs based on engineering input process requirements and project specifications.
- Ensure that P&IDs comply with relevant industry standards codes and regulatory
- Collaborate with process engineers instrumentation specialists and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for P&ID development.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that P&IDs accurately represent the design and functionality of the process.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Process Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Process Designer with a focus on P&ID development in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using P&ID software and design tools (e.g. AutoCAD SmartPlant P&ID or similar).
- Strong understanding of process engineering principles and instrumentation.
