Title: Program Manager (Hybrid)
Location: Lisle IL
Duration: 6 months contract ( Possible to hire)
This position is based in Lisle IL and will be required to be in office 34 days/week or as required by corporate policy
Description:
Program Manager (Hybrid)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead/coordinate major and minor programs to ensure they are delivered on time within budget and meet all technical/quality specifications
Work with Strategic Planning
o Provide feedback on where the program fits into the overall product gannet
o Provide overall direction about process and help direct questions
o Assist in mediating conversations between functions and external parties
o Monitor spending against budget milestones and take corrective action as needed
Client Product Development process documentation curator
Support the preparation of presentations for the executive meeting collaboration mediation and administrator meetings
Provide coaching and guidance to Program Managers and other stakeholders to assist with the Client Product Development process
Manage the Scope Change process
Proven ability to succeed in a fastpaced demanding crossfunctional environment working with business users project team members IT development personnel and vendors
Promote a strong working partnership between business and IT members of the team and ensure excellent communications between team members stakeholders 3rd party vendors and management at all levels
Basic Requirements
Masters degree
At least 6 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
Bachelors degree
At least 8 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
At least 10 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
Desired Skills
Demonstrated expertise in program management and product development processes
Track record of effectively managing crossfunctional teams and deliverables
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize activities based on business needs
Ability to interface with all management levels
Proven ability to succeed in a fastpaced demanding crossfunctional environment working with business users project team members IT development personnel and vendors
Strong interpersonal organizational and creative problemsolving skills
Proven ability to handle complexity (technical and organizational) and resolve issues as required
Strong understanding of systems. Able to understand technical terms and system design considerations
Curious goaloriented and highly selfmotivated with a passion for driving transformative change
Strong customer service orientation: enjoys people and creates raving fans
Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of business and technical audiences
Work experience in OEM manufacturing or aftermarket parts industry a plus
