Job summary
Cognizant is looking for an energetic and highly skilled communicator to take charge of communicating the organization's corporate affairs and finance vision strategy and priorities both internally and externally. This person will employ strategic and innovative communication methods to help several executive level leaders communicate with associates media and other key stakeholders. Executives covered by this role include:

Roles & Responsibilities
Solve business problems and deliver outcomes with strategic and creative communication campaigns and messaging targeted by audience.
Plan and create executive communications for Cognizant's functional executives.
Support communications for functional transformation programs.
Manage social media and blog on behalf of the internal clients across multiple internal and external channels.
Manage multiple project timelines and deliverables.
Coordinate with communications team members to occasionally support other corporate functions' communication needs.
Bring a point of view to executive leadership and colleagues balanced by a commitment to work as one team.
Offer ideas best practices and leadership within the Global Communications team and our stakeholders.

Qualifications - External
What you will bring
Proven experience in corporate communications public relations advertising and/or marketing.
Ability to keep a cool head and flex hours in the face of ambiguity multiple deadlines and emerging challenges and priorities.
Advanced proficiency in writing English-language communications with knowledge of AP style.
Familiarity with Information Technology and enterprise technology a plus.
Expert social media skills.
Versed in new and emerging communications technologies and practices.
Ability to think creatively and strategically.
Passionate about driving employee engagement employee experience and executive thought leadership.
Proven experience working with senior leaders and thought leaders.
Bachelors Degree (Communications Public Relations English Journalism or Marketing degree preferred).
Ability to lead and collaborate.
Effective organizational skills to manage multiple projects timelines and stakeholders.
Passion and energy.
Flexibility and a strong work ethic.
