Administer and manage Microsoft 365 tenant settings, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other related services.
Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and configurations within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Monitor service health, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
Configure, manage, and monitor Proofpoint email security solutions, including email gateway, anti-spam, anti-phishing, and data loss prevention (DLP) features.
Analyze email traffic, security logs, and threat intelligence to proactively identify and respond to email security threats and vulnerabilities.
Maintain and update Proofpoint policies, rules, and filters to strengthen email security and prevent malicious attacks.
Provide L2 support for Microsoft 365 and Proofpoint-related incidents, service requests, and issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
Collaborate with L1 support, end-users, and other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex email-related problems effectively.
Implement and enforce email security best practices, including email encryption, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and access controls within Microsoft 365.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies regarding email security, privacy, and retention.
Maintain documentation, procedures, and operational manuals for Microsoft 365 and Proofpoint configurations, setups, and processes.
Provide training, guidance, and best practices to users and IT staff on utilizing Microsoft 365 features and adhering to email security protocols.
Essential Skills:
Proven experience (X years) in administering and supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services in an enterprise environment.
Experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Proofpoint or similar email security solutions.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and security features.
Knowledge of email security protocols, anti-phishing techniques, and email encryption methods.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
Proofpoint Certified Administrator (PCA) or relevant Proofpoint certifications
Essential Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
