Position Overview
As an Accountant with Aunalytics, you will assist the Controller and Chief Financial Officer with a variety of accounting functions including, but not limited to, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This position requires a basic understanding of accounting standards and experience working with US-based companies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Onshore Support : Assisting and working closely with a US-based Finance & Accounting team to enable transaction processing and financial reporting processes.
- Financial Record Keeping : Assisting in maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable : Transaction processing including management of invoices, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and enabling the collection of payments from clients.
- Financial Analysis : Assisting with financial data analysis to identify trends, perform cost-reduction analysis, and provide recommendations for financial performance improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Assisting in the preparation of budgets, monitoring expenditure, and analyzing variances.
Required Skills:
- A secondary education degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance, with a clear focus on financial record-keeping, budgeting, and compliance.
- Proven experience working with US-based companies and a basic understanding of US GAAP.
- inexperience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with international teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, adapting to diverse cultural and business practices.
