Job Description
Prime Function:
- Formulate and implement Revenue Management strategies for accommodation and event space in order to maximize revenue potential and increase competitive space.
- Responsible for managing the Reservations Department.
- Ensure that the organization's sales strategies are effectively implemented in the inventory system.
- Strive to maximize the revenue in coordination with the Sales & Marketing & Front Office directly to achieve the objectives.
- Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Vijayawada Varun should be brought to the attention of the Management.
Sales & Marketing Planning
- Plan weekly and monthly strategies in order to meet short to medium term activities to support hotel forecasting delivery.
Operational
- Monitor inventory management.
- Monitor and ensure data integrity for all accommodation and conference bookings.
- Utilize statistical data to set future pricing & selling strategies for accommodation and event meeting space.
- Monitor and ensure the delivery of standard operating procedures for reservations.
People Management
- Provide effective support to the team to enable them to provide effective and efficient services.
- Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.
Financial Management
- Assist the Management in setting annual pricing for all market segments.
- Conduct frequent competitor research to ensure the pricing & selling strategies which reflect market demand and the hotel's competitive position.
- Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
