Job description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment. You will work closely with other engineers and professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Junior level experience of 1 to 3 years in electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and methodologies.
- Experience in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems.
- Preparing and maintaining electrical designs, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Supervising the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Conducting inspections and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues.
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements.
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety policies.
- Preparing project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
- Participating in project meetings and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
