Job description
Position : Lead QA Automation (Java, Java Script) | Chennai Experience : 6 - 7 years Package : 11-20 Lacs P.A. Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the QA team in developing, implementing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive coverage. Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure that quality considerations are integrated into the software development life cycle. Drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, testability, and maintainability. Manage automated testing efforts to identify, document, and resolve defects. Develop metrics and reports on the quality of software, test coverage, and the effectiveness of QA processes. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Stay abreast of the latest trends in software QA, including tools, processes, and methodologies, and assess their applicability to our goals Competencies and Skills Required: 6+ years of proven experience in QA leadership, with a strong background in automated testing. Strong and Mandatory experience with programming languages relevant to test automation, such as JavaScript and Java, or Python Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestRail) Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including experience with agile and Kanban development cycles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) systems Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving high-quality standards.
